Kathie...so sorry to learn of Steve's passing...know that he is no longer in pain.
We always enjoyed our monthly card and dessert nights.....I believe it's been almost 20 years!
We enjoyed Steve's jokes and story telling....never quite knew it was a joke until he got to the end!
We know he will be missed, but you and the family have many memories that you will keep close.

Steve was a big part of my heart and my life and always will be. We shared a double desk at Shady Grove Grade School, but the teacher had to move him. He kept saying "Gerald, Quit" because I was always pestering him. I missed him after he was moved. Brother Gerald

How do you say how much he will be missed! We took a few trips together and it was so much fun, he was such a jokester! He was such a great family man. Could always beat us girls in cards. We know that God has returned his sight and his is looking down at his family and smiling.

I worked with Steve for several years in the mid 80’s to late 90’s. He taught me many things about the grocery business and just as many things about life. He was probably the most fair, honest and understanding person that I have ever worked for or with. I have nothing but love and respect for him. My heartfelt condolences to his family. He was a very fine man.

Steve was one of the best Christian men I have ever had the honor to know. Steve and I enjoyed God's creation a lot as we were out in nature many times together. Whether it was on the river fishing for trout or in the national forest hunting, Steve always gave God thanks for allowing us to enjoy our outings. I will miss him dearly. I am so glad he chose me to be one of his friends. He was a great Christian influence whether it was in the church or out in the public. I learned a lot from him. I will miss my buddy.
