Steve Smith, age 79, of Mountain Home, Arkansas went to his eternal home on January 28, 2025 at Baxter Health Hospital.

He was born on December 22, 1945 to Chester and Emma White Smith in Lilbourn, Missouri. He was preceded in death by them, four sisters and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Kathie; his son, Timothy & wife Kristin; his daughter, Susannah and 3 grandchildren, Ian, Dalton and Elizabeth. He also is survived by a brother, Gerald and several nieces and nephews.

He was a Navy Veteran and retired from Harps Market in 2005 as a Grocery Manager. He was a member of the Mountain Home Church of Christ and served for a time as a Deacon there.

As mentioned by his children, he loved to tell jokes and had a special storytelling ability. He loved to laugh and make others laugh too.

He was a loyal caretaker of his family, friends and others that needed help.

He was a hard working man who loved the Lord and loved his family and the occasional fishing trip.

He will be missed.
