I have known Bobby and his mother Melanie all my life. My mom and his mom were friends. Bobby also took my wedding pictures. I went to see him when Mary Lee died
and we had a good visit. He was a wonderful man and I’m glad that he was here n my life. His mother was pretty special to me also. Love to them.
Bob Scroggin (he was Mr. Scroggin when I first knew him) served as my second boss when I was a newspaper carrier for the Log Cabin Democrat. He had the patience of Job and was so kind to a group of young boys. It was like herding cats, I’m sure, but Bob was always calm, collected and unflappable. Mr. Scroggin was so kind and caring, a true servant of the people. He was always devoted to his mother and everyone seemed to love him. It was deserved. Deepest sympathies to his remaining family and to all who knew him.
Bob was in my class at St. Joe,Linda McCaig,he was always very kind ..we walked home from school together during grade school and most of high school..he never had a bad word to say about anyone..RIP Bobby
Bob was my first "boss", but he would correct you when you mentioned the term. We are on the same team, and helping people is what we do. I have never forgotten his advice. Over the years, we have reconnected, and he never forgot a face, or a name. He knew each and every person that he interacted with, and with Bob you picked up right where you left off. His passing will impact a large number of folks. Bob was a kind and good man and will be missed deeply by a lot of folks. He never met a stranger, and I look forward to seeing him again one day. Prayers and sympathy to his remaining family.
Bob was one of the most honest men I ever knew. We go back some 75 years. Ran together a lot in High School. His mother was a gem. His sister Mary was and is a special star. Bob never changed from age 5, when we met, until his death. He will be missed by the community, of which he loved dearly. I will miss you Bob. Great speed my friend.
Bob you taught me so much of the person I am now. I was your caregiver but you were my teacher. We became so close. You were more of a grandpa to me above all. The laughs we shared, our deepest talks and our share of love of God. I will NEVER forget you Pop pop! You were amazing! I am so happy you are back reunited with the love of your life, Mrs Lee. Love you Always!
I was saddened to hear of Bob’s passing; but he is no longer in pain. He has been reunited with the love of his life, Lee.
so very sorry to learn of Bob's passing. We were St.Joseph class mates and I have many good memories of those times.
Bob was special pearson would help anyone
My deepest sympathy to the family. Bob was one of the kindest men I ever knew. More folks should be like him. He had a compassion for others and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. A true example of Jesus. Rest well my friend, you will be missed.
Bob was the Kindest Man Ever!
