The life of Mary Sue Smith began on August 22, 1935 in the community of Stantonville, Tennessee. Mary Sue was one of six children in the family of Fate and Willie May Thomas. Mary Sue married James Edward Harris and their marriage was blessed with 3 children. As a young homemaker with little ones, she became skilled in cooking and caring for her family. Mary Sue and James lived most of their lives in Bethal Springs, Tennessee. Mary Sue loved children. At one time in her early life, Mary Sue was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. Ms.Sue you were such a wonderful lady! You were my favorite neighbor on Balfour. You became a huge part of my life growing up. I love that we continued to talk even in my adult years. I will miss your phone calls and your advice. I love you and I love that you fought for me during hard times in my childhood. I know that you have been made new, and are rejoicing with our Heavenly Father. My condolences to your family. It’s not goodbye it’s see you later.
