Stunned to read tonight of Phillip’s passing. Prayers lifted for the family to receive peace and comfort. It is hard to find how some occurrences are part of God’s plan but it is my belief that we will find out later. It is the present that we have to struggle to continue in.

Our condolences to the family of Phillip Higgins.
He was such a nice young man and a good conversationalist. We appreciate his service in the army and enjoyed listening to his stories sharing some of his military experiences. He amazed us with obscure details about some place or person. In addition to his military service, Phillip often mentioned he was a proud father.

We knew Phillip from our interactions at the Country Club but whenever he saw us wherever we were he always spoke and asked how we were. Durwood and I thought a lot of Phillip. and we keep the entire family in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Family of Philip, Joe Tom and I were so fond of Philip. When he worked at the country club we always enjoyed having Philip wait on our table because he always did a good job and was such a personable guy. When we had bank parties at our pool house, Philip was a great help to me. He was very professional and was always willing to do anything I needed done and stayed late to help me clean up.
I am so sorry that he has left this earth so soon and it breaks my heart for all of your family.
May you feel the presence, peace and healing of our Lord as you go through these difficult days.
