Dear Phil, Lissa & Anne,
I came to know Cathie through the many fun rafting trips I took with Phil. I always knew Cathie was the organizer of each trip, and her arrangements made it care-free for the rafters. Our international couples trips were especially fun. Her travel skills were really evident when Edie and I went on the epic Hannibal, Missouri, trip, complete with her arranging for Mark Twain himself to provide the after dinner entertainment. Cathie was a very classy, smart, and of course, beautiful woman, who filled the room with her smile and laughter. Edie and I keep many wonderful memories of her, and we send each of you our condolences and prayers in this time of sorrow.

Dear Anne and Lissa,
I’m so sorry for your loss. Your mom was kind, graceful, and beautiful inside and out. I know she was proud of you both and will continue to watch over you and her precious grandchildren. I’m grateful to have been her neighbor for so many years. May your happy memories together bring you comfort and strength.
With love,
Kate Hargis
My beautiful Cathie. I miss you terribly, but that is me being selfish. You are rejoicing with our Heavenly Father and I will see you soon. Your friendship has meant so much to me and I will keep you alive with all the beautiful memories of our fun times with Sophie and Phil and Mack and Mia. You are a kind beautiful soul and you will always be remembered as my bestie. We could solve the world problems with our talks. Thank you for loving me and I will always love you. Your family has to carry on without you, but I will keep a watch on them. In love, Stacy
I met Cathie at the U of A, where we were both Kappa Kappa Gammas. After college, we shared an apartment in Little Rock with Mindy Roberts Hooper, went on a fun and memorable vacation in Acapulco, Mexico, and attended church together. I was also a bridesmaid in her wedding. In later years, I didn’t see her as much, but I look forward to spending time together in Heaven, praising the God we both love.
I was privileged to have Cathy and family as dental patients, for many years. I loved having her in our office with her outgoing and friendly personality. She always brightened my day and will be missed. Prayers and condolences to the Malcom family.
Blessings to the whole family as you grieve and celebrate Cathy’s life and her fingerprints she left on so many.
Much love
Steve and Jan Kinzler
