My heart goes out to the family. I loved Mrs.Pud so much. We have a small memorial in the window or the ER in Osceola to show some love towards her. I’ve know her for 2 years now and she was an Angel on earth. This has been extremely hard for so many of the younger ladies at SMC. We can’t put into words how much we loved her.

Joe, and your family. I was touched when Donnie called to tell me your mate was gone. I'm sorry for you and your family. When the Mother is gone, the family has to work to be the glue that she was for keeping the family together. I knew her because she was married to you. You were, it seemed to me, to be a couple that complimented each other. I knew her Dad as he was a supporter of 4-H when I was involved with that group as a young person. I remember he was a speaker of one of our banquets back in the 50s. I know you will miss all that she meant to you. Memories are made to comfort us as we grow older. I pray because we are believers, that God along with your family and many friends

Pud was one of my favorite people in this world. She was always so sweet and nice to me. Dr Thomas was my dentist even when I lived in New York which I would fly to Osceola for my dentist appointments. So when returning to Osceola after many years, Pud welcomed me into our Sunday school class always with a smile. My prayers to her family. I will miss her with the fondest of memories. She is an angel in heaven now after being an angel here on earth.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this note. I was privileged to meet Mary "Pud" White Thomas through her son, Chief Warrant Officer David Thomas. Upon first meeting her, Pud's warmth and genuine kindness radiate through all she and all she does. Instead of mourning the loss of such an exquisite lady, I choose to celebrate the sliver of her life that I witnessed.
Pud shared both loving and mischievous stories about her children and grandchildren. She spoke about her flowers and the bees for Doc's honey. The community of Osceola and her outreach are affected by her passing. She is now and forever in her celestial body and will watch over all she loves.
