David Forrest Pollard was born in Monticello Arkansas on February 8, 1957, to Dr. Forrest Hibbard Pollard and Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Pollard. He passed away on June 11, 2022, following a battle with dementia.
David was an Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow recipient. He was a class of '75 graduate of Northeast Highschool in North Little Rock. David earned two degrees in engineering from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. These degrees led to a long career in the local construction industry. David followed in the footsteps of many of his family members and was an accomplished wood craftsman and could fix most anything. He loved to travel and explore the outdoors. He was a lifelong collector. He accumulated many things, but his tools, books and stamps were among his most prized collections. David loved music. Jazz, Bluegrass, Classical, Dixie Land, Folk and Classic Rock could all be found among his CD and Vinyl collections. His favorite musicians were the Rolling Stones. David was a servant leader, minister, and friend to many.
David is survived by his sister Ann Elizabeth Zega and her husband Steve, and two nephews Forrest Colin Larkowski and Trevor Morgan Larkowski and niece Haley J. Zega.
Services will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to be made to St Luke's Episcopal Church and the Quapaw Area Council of the BSA.

David and I had our Eagle Scout Award ceremony together. I have a picture of us with our parents and our cake from that night. Condolences to the family.

Ann, I have been out of town and just read this. I am so sorry to hear about David. I remember the two of you coming to the office to see your dad, and how proud he was of both of you. I was surprised to read that David was 65; I still think of both of you as being much younger. My prayers are with you and your family. Love, Sarah Breshears.

I remember David as a young man & fellow St Luke’s Parishioner. I was a couple of years older, but I do remember being in Scouts at the same time. He was always fun to be around and was really smart. He will be missed.

Ann,
I am so sorry about your brother’s death. I have many happy memories playing with David when we were kids! Your family lived next door to my family on Idlewild Ave before you were born. Your mom made the best brownies and she made some doll clothes for me that I loved! I I have photos of David and Cindy, another neighbor, and I playing from ages 5 through age 9. We went to Park Hill Elementary School together so I have several first day of school photos of the 3 of us as we were all the same age. We bad picnics in the yard, climbed trees and rode bikes! David was so smart and funny and was a good friend. I am grateful I knew David and smile thinking on the adventures the 3 of us had that made our childhood special.
