David Forrest Pollard

of North Little Rock, AR

February 8, 1957 - June 11, 2022

David Forrest Pollard was born in Monticello Arkansas on February 8, 1957, to Dr. Forrest Hibbard Pollard and Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Pollard. He passed away on June 11, 2022, following a battle with dementia.

David was an Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow recipient. He was a class of '75 graduate of Northeast Highschool in North Little Rock. David earned two degrees in engineering from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. These degrees led to a long career in the local construction industry. David followed in the footsteps of many of his family members and was an accomplished wood craftsman and could fix most anything. He loved to travel and explore the outdoors. He was a lifelong collector. He accumulated many things, but his tools, books and stamps were among his most prized collections. David loved music. Jazz, Bluegrass, Classical, Dixie Land, Folk and Classic Rock could all be found among his CD and Vinyl collections. His favorite musicians were the Rolling Stones. David was a servant leader, minister, and friend to many.

David is survived by his sister Ann Elizabeth Zega and her husband Steve, and two nephews Forrest Colin Larkowski and Trevor Morgan Larkowski and niece Haley J. Zega.

Services will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to be made to St Luke's Episcopal Church and the Quapaw Area Council of the BSA.
