Funeral services for Danny Lee Tharp, 49, of Helena, AR., will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 10, 2006, at the Twin City Church of Christ in West Helena.
Danny was born February 13, 1957, in Batesville, AR. He was a member of the Twin City Church of Christ and employed as a sales representative for O'Reilly Auto Parts in West Helena.
He leaves his wife, Neva Tharp of Helena, a daughter Megan Tharp of Helena, his mother Jackie Ross of Helena, Brothers; Keith Tharp of Benton, AR., Mike Tharp and wife Lisa of West Helena, and Richard Ross of Helena, step-mother; Linda Tharp of Batesville, AR., father and mother-in-law; Travis and Carolyn Turman of Hot Springs, AR., sister-in-laws; Beth and Junior Copeland of Helena, Doris Schuetze and husband Ken of Corpus Christi, TX., and Cara Baker and husband Cody of Keller, TX., 9 nephews, 1 niece, 2 great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Roy Tharp, maternal grandparents; Lawrence and Gladys Older, and paternal grandparents; Charles and Monnie Tharp.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 9 p.m. Saturday evening at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Monte McIntosh, Jimmy Maples, Larry Moon, Joe Lawson, Junior Copeland, Micheal Butler, Cody Baker, and Ken Schuetze. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Ray Wiggins, Ricky Stevens, Buddy Ray, Rowland Williamson, Charles Ferguson, and Mike Butler.

I never met Danny but knew Roy and Linda very well. My dad, Harvey Tharp and Roy were first cousins. I thought some of your family might like to look at dad's memorial video (he passed away in April) because some of the pictures at the end were taken at a family reunion a few years ago and Roy and Linda are in a couple of them. Just go to Roller's main page and click Locations and then Batesville and type dad's name in. I'm so sorry for your loss. Your video is beautiful. It made me feel like I knew him.

I am so sorry for your loss. I still remember Danny after moving away from Helena over 30 years ago. He used to come to Mindy Ward's house and we would go motorcycle riding. I smiled when I saw the motorcycles in his video. May God ease your pain in your loss. Linda
