Wilburn Douglas "WD" Brown, 77, of LaGrange, Arkansas passed away peacefully Thursday, April 20, 2023 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born September 20, 1945 to Carroll Brown and Maggie Rose Brown in Horn Hollow, Arkansas.
Mr. Brown is survived by his spouse, Rebecca Brown of the home; two sons, Jimmy Brown (Nina) of Bono, Arkansas, Chris Brown (Kathy) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Heather Smothers (Heath) of LaGrange, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Blake Brown (Lacey), Cailin Brown (Crystal), Elizabeth Brown, Christopher Brown (Ashleigh), Douglas Brown, Rebekah Reynolds (Corey), Charlie Rogers (Kyla), Ethan Smothers; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carroll Brown Jr. (Nancy) of Heber Springs, Arkansas, George Brown (Brenda) of LaGrange, Arkansas; two sisters, Louise Burns (Billy) of Michigan and Joyce Casteel (Austin) of Mountain Home, Arkansas a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lucille Fowler.
Pallbearers will be Blake Brown, Cailin Brown, Christopher Brown, Douglas Brown, Ethan Smothers and Corey Reynolds.
He took care of LaGrange Cemetery most of his life. He retired from Tri-County Farmers Association.
Graveside services will be held Monday, April 24, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at LaGrange Cemetery in LaGrange, Arkansas with Minister Steve Yarberry officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas.

Sorry to read this. He was my late husband's cousin. Known him for a long time. A good guy. .Last time I saw and talked to him was at a relatives funeral. Prayers of comfort and peace for the family.
