Please accept our condolences on the passing of your loved one. It was an honor to have known such a great person and we will truly miss him. May God embrace you in comfort during this difficult time.
Dear Coach,
I’m still lost for words and your passing seem so unreal to me. As, I sit here thinking about the type of person you were is definitely not hard to describe. A true friend is what you were to many of us. You loved all and you never made a difference with any of your students. I’m thankful that every time you stopped by or called you always had a smile and a listening ear and I enjoyed hearing how much joy in your tone of voice especially when you talked about your kids. A proud dad is what you were and it showed. I’m going to miss you being my taste tester for my brownies 😊 or giving you a hug and saying I love ya Coach. May you RIP â¤ï¸
Jimmy,
We Love You.

Coach,
We sure are going to miss you. You became a great friend to both of us, especially the last couple of years. You were so kind to check on us, and on occasion bring us something to eat. You were thoughtful that way. We will always cherish the memories of our get togethers at our place sharing food and good conversation. You always had a smile and a story to tell. Fly high Coach, we love you!

Sweet Cousin Jimmy--Remembering all the fun memories and wonderful times we had growing up at grandma and grandpa's house & farm. You endured being the youngest of the seven Hawkins grandkids!
My deepest condolences to Heather, Billy, Uncle James, Roland & Carl during this difficult time. Love & prayers to all the family.
Uncle Jimmy,
Though we lived apart most of our lives I will always remember when you came to town. You were always smiling and cracking a new joke. You will be missed by all who called you both friend and family. May your soul be at peace. Your memory lives on with us all.
Your Nephew,
Shane
You will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the Hawkins family. Rest in Peace.
Jimmy was special to my family. He helped my father, Darby Henry, to make slaw at the oyster supper and spaghetti supper at St. Michael's over the years. Daddy has been gone five years, but Jimmy kept in contact with us just to say hello and check in on everyone. I regret that I missed his call on Mother's Day. He often spoke of how proud he was of both of his children. My sincere condolences to the family. I will remember him fondly.
Jimmy, you will be missed. We shared many good times at Papa Carl's farm. Rembering your family in my prayers

Rest in peace, as a brother you were special and unique in a lot of ways. I hope your friends, teaching colleagues, former students and all of those you touched in the West Memphis area remember your smile and the tilted ball caps. Melissa and I had the opportunity to share a meal with you at Pearl's in Memphis and it will be one of the many memories. I love you Brother, God bless you. Carl
