Loss of a good friend and fellow square dancer with the Arky Outlaws. Our condolences to the family.
We were teenagers attending Oak Forest Methodist Church. All of our activities were centered in Oak Forest First we sold paper bricks to build a new church. When it was finished it flooded every time that it rained. A new church was built facing Fair Park Blvd. The older boys, Johnny, Jerry, Hugh, Eddie and a few others spent most of their Saturdays going out on highway 10 to pick up rocks to build the church. They had an old flat bed truck with bad breaks but they managed to get enough rocks for the original building. We all became lifelong friends. Mary Frances
I always enjoyed my summer visits with Uncle Jerry and Aunt Kat. They always made me feel at home at there house and uncle Jerry could . Make a " mean" milk shake. RIP dear man !!!!
My cousin Jerry, so sorry you’ve passed. Always a generous man, dry sense of humor, wonderful son to my Aunt Zetta & Uncle Harry, gentle and thoughtful. My deepest condolences to the boys and their families.

Jerry was a man of extraordinary character. Though I was in his presence less than a dozen times, he was definitely a favorable influence on my life. His life was exemplary.
What a fine man and such a great family. Many many wonderful childhood memories with the entire family. I wish the family the best during this time. Roger
