Isaac Reed Mendez, 20 of Clarksville, AR., passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 in Clarksville, AR. Isaac was born October 3, 1998 in Newport Beach, CA. to Isaac and Laura (Goni) Mendez. Isaac enjoyed outdoors, camping at STrawberry Bluff in his hammock, rock climbing and to go on waterfallsearcjes. Isaac was athletic, loved crossfit, football, baseball, and spending time with his sisters. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. Isaac is preceded in death by his grandfather Juan Goni. Isaac is survived by his father Isaac and Paola Mendez of Lamar, AR.; mother Laura (Goni) Sherwood of Clarksville, AR; two sisters: Madison Sherwood of Clarksville and Regina Mendez of Lamar, AR.; grandparents: Alejandro and Sara Mendez of Riverside, CA.; six aunts and one uncle: Laura, Mayra, Patricia, Elizabeth, Veronica, Monica and Alex; grandmother Alice Faye Skaggs-Goni of Clarksville, AR; two aunts and two uncles: Rachelle, Renee, Robert, and Mike; numerous cousins; a host of other family and friends. Visitation is 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, April 26, 2019 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service 10:00 A.M on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Guillermo Chavez & Pastor Robert Boen officiating. Burial will follow at Patterson Springs Cemetery with Andrew Castro, Steven Ramirez, Eli Ramirez, Jacob Ramirez, Alexander Castro, Joey Ramirez, Benjamin Lastoria, and Jon Michael Goni serving as pallbearers.

So very sorry for the tragic loss of your Isaac.
The scriptures remind us that: " time and unexpected events " befall us all . [Ecclesiastes 9: 11]I am sure you would like to have spent one more day together. This day is coming soon as our loving heavenly father, Jehovah, promises:" And God himself will wipe every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."[ Revelation 21:3,4]
Our tears of sadness will be replaced by tears of joy as we embrace our loved ones once again.
Jesus taught us to pray for that wonderful future hope at Matthew 6: 9, 10, known to many as the Lords prayer: "You must pray, then, this way:“‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth".
May these beautiful scriptures give you comfort now and hope for a much happier future!
