John,
I am so happy to hear that you are at rest now. I realize you have suffered immensely in life, especially since the tragic events of April 26, 1969 when your first wife, Donna Wilson Phipps died of suspicious
circumstances.
I would have been at your service, had I known you had passed away. It grieves me immensely to think that we never got the chance to talk because there is much I would have liked to have said to you.
I do look forward to visiting your final resting place and leaving some memento of remembrance for all that you did for Donna and her children.
I hope you are resting eternally in the arms of the glorious ones, and understand now that all things happen for a reason. I'm sure you had this burden on your mind for many years, and am glad it is no longer an earthly albatross.
Florene, We were so saddened to read of John's death. It has been a long time since we have seen the two of you but you have been in our thoughts. I know that it has been a struggle at times and that you shared a deep love with each other. We did not know of John's death until this morning and we were unable to attend the funeral or the visitation. We offer our thoughts and prayers for you at this time.
