Till We Are Together Again

As I sit here by your bed,
I close my eyes and bow my head.
Does it sound mean or does it sound sad,
As I pray to God, please take my Dad.

Cancer is ugly and the pain is bad,
It has now taken both the parents we had.
You taught us all right from wrong,
And we will remember long after you are gone.

I knew it had to be God's will, not mine,
And I know you are in Heaven and you are fine.
God's promise is a new body and no more pain,
So our letting you go has been your gain.

You are now with mom, your true love,
So we promise to smile when we look up above.
As you walk with mom, hand in hand,
Please tell her about her grandkids and great-grands.

Your grandkids have such wonderful memories of you,
And we promise the great-grandkids will remember you too.
We all thank God we were given time to tell you goodbye,
Before you went to our Father on high.

The day will come when we will all be together,
And when that day comes, it will be forever.
We will all miss you more than you know,
But we also know it was time for you to go.
Our hearts hurt and yes we are sad,
But always remember, we love you Dad!

A Tribute to our Parents

We attribute our faith in our Lord Jesus Christ largely to what we have known of the goodness of our earthly parents. They showed plainly that their lives were lived in a region of profound faith in an ever-present God. We could not but see that He was to them a reality beyond all other realities. Of religious teachings we had plenty, but also of Christian example and influence we had a never-ending supply.

I was sorry to read that your dad passed away while I was out of town, that is my reason for not being at the service to give you girls a hug. I have fond memories of the years we attended Oregan Flat church. Pray the Lord will comfort you. Life to be with your mom and dad in the next life. Love, Sharon

When I owned the Townhouse Cafe with Buddy Bronson, I wanted to say how glad I was to meet you. I learned to love and respect you and after Buddy died in 2012, I sold the restaurant and I didn't see you any more after. Missed you so much and now that you have gone to that place where I wonder where everybody goes: To the heavens and beyond where our Lord shows us our resting place and then comes to wake us and says "Come with Me, I am returning, I am the way, the truth and the light"
Much love to you Bill
My condolences to the family

Colleen and Kathy and all your family, this has been such a difficult time for all of you, but you have handled this so graciously and gracefully. I know you are at such a sad and happy place once again. It is never easy to let go, but it is not easy to watch our loved ones suffer either. My heart aches for each of you and I pray that God continues to walk with you as you go thru the coming days especially and the weeks and months to follow. I love you, as I loved Bill and Martha. Beautiful memories to carry us until we all meet again. Hugs

I never knew your full name (the same as mine only spelled a little different). I always knew you as Bill - Kathy's Dad - Mike's Dad - Kyle & Eric's Grandfather and their children's Great Grandfather. You and Martha welcomed me into your home on many occasions and I saw the love and devotion for your God and your Family. I know that you are now with Martha and with your Lord. Rest in Peace Brother Bill and take care of my Chad. Say hello to my parents and my brother. You can be proud of those you left behind - you showed them what really matters and you gave them all your love and support. To Bill and Martha's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren - other family and friends. You were blessed and one day will join Bill and Martha in your Heavenly Home. God Bless you all.

Thoughts, love, and prayers for the family. I remember Mr. Bill mostly from years ago. He was always at anything his grandkids were a part of. He always had a big smile. He loved to kid around. I know your family will miss him.

To the Family. SO sorry for your loss. Hope you will be comforted in knowing that Billy has the prospect of being resurrected (in the flesh) to Paradise Earth as God has promised. The vast majority will have everlasting life here on earth. God's Kingdom will do this under the Rulership of Jesus Christ. READ John 5:28, 29, Job 14:14, 15 and Revelation 21:2-4
