Charles Allen Monday, 65, of Batesville, died Thursday, April 13, 2017.
He was born on February 3, 1952 to Roy W. Monday and Anne G. Monday.
He was the co-owner of Monday Shoe Store. He worked with The Traffic Group from 2001 until he retired in 2015. Charlie enjoyed hunting and fishing along with woodworking in his shop. He also loved his rescue dogs.
He is survived by his daughter, Emalie A. Monday of Fayetteville, brother, Eddie Monday of Batesville; as well as several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville.
There will be no visitation.

I was so sorry and surprised to know Charlie was even sick. Gosh I guess only know how close Charlie and I were. All the hunting trips to So. Ar.

Eddie, I just now found out about Charlie's Passing. I'm very sorry to hear that.
My family has known Charlie all his life and so regret I could not come to the graveside service to pay my respects. Deepest sympathy to Eddie and the whole family at this sad time.

I grew up across the street from Charlie and graduated from high school with him. My sympathies to his daughter and Eddie. I had lost contact with him over the years and am sorry to learn of his death.
