of Little Rock, AR
February 29, 1988 - December 21, 2014
Brandon Lee Ethridge, age 26, beloved son and brother, amazing uncle, incredible friend, and loving boyfriend, passed away December 21, 2014 at Baptist Hospital. Brandon was a Leap Year baby and like his date of birth, February 29, 1988, he was a rare gift indeed. Funny, smart, loving, compassionate, could fix anything, and strong as an ox are the things that best describe him. We were all better people for having been a part of his world because when you were around Brandon, you were in his world. He was a natural leader and he did things his way. His smile, quick wit, and beautiful face will be remembered on a daily basis without fail. He loved spending time with family and friends, going fast on anything with wheels, and rooting for the Seminoles and Razorbacks.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Modlin, his grandfather Melvin Ethridge, and his best friend, Christopher O'Neal. He leaves behind his grandparents, Marcus Modlin, of Little Rock, and Louise Ethridge, of Batesville, parents, Mom, Rhonda Ethridge of Little Rock, and, Dad, Robert Michael Ethridge of Little Rock; his brother, Christopher Shane Ethridge, sister-in-law Bethany Lynn Ethridge, his beloved niece, Sophie Jane Ethridge all of Hot Springs; the love of his life, Hannah Danielle Chance of Little Rock; his step-mother Cindy Dove and her two children, sister Angela Linebarger and brother Jacob Dove; Aunts Debbie Modlin and Ruby Jordan; Uncles Mark Modlin and Gary Modlin; Cousins Chrystal Baker, Lee Modlin, Shannon Modlin, Keri Modlin, Robbie Jordan, Ronnie Jordan, Ryan Jordan, Jack LaBauve, and Sarah LaBauve; and numerous friends that were his family.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Green, Dominick Pace, Ricky Harris, Coy Garrett, Phillip ''Flip'' Patire, Christopher Parent, Thomas ''TC'' Dunn, Kendall Blake and Mike Jones. Officiating will be Ed Wills of St. Michaels Episcopal Church.
Brandon, we love you and always will. Shine on you crazy diamond. Go Noles.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2014 in the Chapel of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR (501) 224-8300, with burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Friday, December 26, 2014 at the funeral home.
Our hearts are broken and our minds in total disbelief. Dear God, Heavenly King almighty God the Father give our family the strength to heal especially for Rhonda, Shane, Mike and Hannah. God says our cross shall never be more than we can bear-trust in him and ask for guidance and he shall lead the way.
I Love You all,

Brandon, I hope you know that I did believe you when you told me about the changes you had made. I will never forget those last few moments and our last hugs just a few short hours before you left this earth for eternal rest. I'll never forget who you were to Ricky and to me. My prayers go with you and your family; and I pray that all of your friends will take from your passing what God would have them learn. Love, Momma.
Brandon was indeed a very special individual whose presense will be missed by hs all of his AT&T friends and "family".
And for Brandon's closet family and friends "“Friends come into our lives and friends leave our lives. But friends never leave our hearts. And best friends always get to stay in the best places in our hearts.” ...John Simmons.
