of Greenbrier, AR
July 1, 1966 - February 9, 2013
Carol Ann Frye, 46, of Greenbrier, AR passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013, after an unending six and a half year battle with cancer. She was born on Friday, July 1, 1966 in Mansfield, MO to Tom and Jo Ann (Ewing) Pierce.
Carol was everything that a mom should and needed to be. She taught her daughters all that they needed to know and they wouldn't be who they are today without her guiding hand. She gave one hundred percent in every aspect of her life and her family was no exception. Her time was spent not only being a good mother, but also being a good wife to her husband. She was a hard worker, who knew everything about her family's car racing business. She was saved in the summer of 1978. She was concerned with her own faith as well as the faith of others and made sure to help anyone.
She is survived by her husband of nineteen years, Bill Frye; daughters, Madison Frye and Sarah Frye of Greenbrier; parents, Tom and Jo Ann (Ewing) Pierce of Ava, MO; and brothers, Larry and Kay Pierce, and Kenny and Jeanie Pierce of Ava, MO.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Greenbrier with Dr. Martin Jameson officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carol Ann Frye College Fund at any First Security Bank location or mailed to: PO Box 938, Conway, AR, 72033.
Arrangements by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Greenbrier.
I am praying that the Frye family will be strengthed and comforted during these difficult times through their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Carol was a beautiful person both inside and out. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Mr. Larry and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I never met her before, but from what I have read it appears that she was a special person. Please remember the promise that Jehovah God has made regarding those that have fallen asleep in death. Please read John 5:28, 29. What a beautiful hope for the future. May this hope of the resurrection prove to be an anchor for your soul.
Larry and family,
I wish we could have met under different circumstances (in Hospice - us with our father, and you with your sister). Having someone to talk to who knew exactly what we were going through, did help. I know you will find comfort knowing that she is in the care of our loving father. Please know that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. May you find peace and comfort in the great memories you have of Carol.

Bill, I feel horrible for your loss, and pray for you guys everyday. Carol was a wonderful woman that I had a great respect for. She could be a lady, but be tough as boot leather at the same time. (Of course she had to, being married to you for so long.) I have a lot of memories of her, and can honestly say, they are all good. Her glass was always half full and no matter what was going on, it stayed that way. I know in my heart she is in a better place. Love you guys. Dennis
