Maxie Don Rofkahr, 64, of Hartman, passed away July 24, 2012, after a short illness. He was born August 28, 1947, in Clarksville, to the late Lawrence Joseph and Helen Marie (Thomas) Rofkahr. He was a farmer and attended the Hunt Tabernacle Gospel Church. He was a loving grandfather and enjoyed being outside with his grandchildren.
Maxie is survived by his wife of 31 years, Peggy (Fetters) Rofkahr; a daughter, Shasta Houston and husband, Eric; a son, Bronson Rofkahr; five grandchildren, Adrienne Houston, Colby Rofkahr, Joely Riddell, Lane Houston and Kylen Houston; two brothers, Bill Rofkahr and Bob Rofkahr; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2012, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Maxie's funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 28, 2012, in the Chapel of Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Love Cemetery, Alma, Arkansas.
