Ricky Smith, 49, of Marion, AR, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011 at his residence. He was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his wife, Deneice Smith of Marion, AR; his son, Allen Smith of Benton, AR; three daughters, Kim Johnson of West Memphis, AR, Jessica Logan of Lexa, AR and Lori Smith of Marion, AR, his mother, Tina Smith of Marion, AR, two brothers, Cookie Smith of West Memphis, AR and Joey Smith of Marion, AR and five grandchildren. The visitation will be Sunday, March 13, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, AR. The service will be Monday, March 14, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with interment following the service in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, AR.

We were 10 and 8 when we met and learned about life together. Everything from playing Army to slingshot fights. All the normal things kids will do. I will miss you like a brother and know that we will meet again in the future. God bless The Smith Family in their time of sorrow and let them know they are not alone. We haven't seen Ricky in a long time. We lived arcross the street from the Smiths when our son,Clinton, Ricky, Joey and Cookie were young boys. It is so hard to believe. We are so sorry to hear about Ricky. Christ be with you in this sad time.
