February 26, 1953 - May 16, 2010

Patti Lynn House passed away May, 16, 2010, at her home in England. She was born February 26, 1953, the daughter of Bobby and Elsa Wright of Coy.. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica House; her sister, Paula Wright; and her grandparents, Garland and Lala Wright, and Roy and Pattie Chaney. She was a faithful member of Landmark Baptist Church in England.

She was her happiest when she had her family and friends gathered around her table for the celebration of Thanksgiving, Christmas, a birthday, or just a typical everyday family meal. Her generosity and hospitality will be missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, David H. ''Butch'' House, III of England; her daughter, Sarah House; her son, Paul House of Coy; her parents, Bobby and Elsa Wright of Coy; her brother, Rob Wright and his wife Maribeth of Camden; her nephew, Jonathan Wright and his wife Ashton of Atlanta, Georgia; her niece, Emily Wright of Camden; and her in-laws, David and Delores House of England.

Visitation will be Monday, May 17 at Landmark Baptist Church in England from 6:00 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at Landmark Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 2:00 p. m. A private family burial will follow at Tomberlin Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Landmark Baptist Church building fund or to Tomberlin Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 149 Coy, Arkansas 72037

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. As a Christian, I know we need comfort from the Scriptures. Below are some that I personally find very consoling and I hope you do to.

"Blessed be . . . the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation."—2 Corinthians 1:3, 4.

"You are opening your hand and satisfying the desire of every living thing."—Psalm 145:16.

"He [God] has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and he has furnished a guarantee to all men in that he has resurrected him from the dead."—Acts 17:31.

"I—I myself am the One that is comforting you people."—Isaiah 51:12.

"Like a man whom his own mother keeps comforting, so I myself shall keep comforting you people."—Isaiah 66:13.

"This is my comfort in my affliction, for your own saying has preserved me alive. I have remembered your judicial decisions from time indefinite, O Jehovah, and I find comfort for myself. May your loving-kindness serve, please, to comfort me, according to your saying to your servant."—Psalm 119:50, 52, 76.

"The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life."—John 5:28, 29.

To Bobby, Elisie Louise and Patti Lynn's Family,
I grew up at Coy wtih the Wright and Temple families. As an adult I renewed a friendship with Patti through our employer. She was one of the nicest people. She truly exemplified the term "beautiful inside and out". I am saddened today to learn of her passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
