Clint Elliott Henderson, Sr.

Clint Elliott Henderson, Sr., of England, born the seventh child of John Henry and Mary Faver Henderson went to his Lord on October 11, 2004. He was born June 24, 1921 in Rison, Arkansas and at the age of 15 moved to England, Arkansas where he resided for the rest of his life.
He was a graduate of England High School and attended Arkansas A & M at Monticello. Clint was a member of the ''Wandering Weevils'' football team and a member of England First Baptist Church where he married his soulmate, Sissy Brittain on April 8, 1951. They were totally devoted to each other for over 53 years. He was also a 32nd Degree mason for over 50 years.
Clint proudly served in World War II in the South Pacific aboard LST #22. He was a pilot that loved to fly his own plane and an avid Razorback fan. He was a farmer and rancher that enjoyed raising cutting horses. He passed these passions on to his sons. Clint served on the England public School Board and was a founder of England Academy and was a good man that loved life, his family and his Lord Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; Ed Henderson, J. Hollie Henderson, A. P. ''Pat''Henderson, J.S. Henderson, Basil Henderson and one sister, Eva May Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Sissy Henderson of England; five children; Clint E. Henderson, Jr. (Connie) of England, J. Hollie Henderson, II (Sheree) of Altheimer, Pamela H. McFall (Jim) of White Hall, Joel B. Henderson (Beverly) of Wright, John W. Henderson (Missy) of England; ten grandchildren; Ryan Henderson of Altheimer, Erin Henderson of Jacksonville, Rachel Henderson of Little Rock, Brittainy McFall of Scottsdale, AZ., Jay McFall of White Hall, Caty Henderson of Jacksonville, Hanah Henderson of Altheimer, John William Henderson, Jr. of England, Haley Henderson of England, Clint Henderson, III of England; three step-grandchildren; Carey McCormick of Scott, Jon Bredlow of England, Niles Childress of England; and one step-great-grandchild, Tyler McCormick of Scott and a much loved sister-in-law, Mabel Henderson.
Pallbearers are his nephews and dear friends; Lawrence Taylor, Robert Taylor, John Taylor, Pat H. Henderson, Pat Norsworthy, Johnny Norsworthy, Emmitt Henderson, Fred Tanner, Whit Brittain, Jimmy Adams, Tommy Adams, and Joey Adams.
Memorials may be made to England First Baptist Church or Mulberry Cemetery
The Family will receive visitors at 401 S. E. 4th, England, AR.
