I remember Bobby from the early 50's when he was in the music business. He made probably the purest Rock n Roll recording's of the 50's with Shirley Lee on ABC-Paramount. I'm very glad Bobby went on to a fine career in with the state of Arkansas when he left the music industry. Bobby Lee Trammell will never be forgotten. Widmarc Clark
I am proud to say that Bobby Lee was a friend of mine. I first met him through his work in the legislature, but first heard of him when I was a young girl and heard the "Arkansas Twist". Besides both being named Bobby (Bobbie) Lee, we had music in common. He was always so encouraging to me to never stop singing. I knew him as a very kind man who really cared about people, especially the people in his district. I will miss his friendship very much. Bobbie Head

I never had the pleasure of meeting Bobby Lee but I always felt I knew him through his music. The first time I heard Bobby Lee was in the late sixties in my native The Netherlands when a friend returned from The States with Bobby's "Arkansas Twist" LP. That record was followed by many more over the years. His music touched many people and he will live on through the music he left us. My sincere condolences to his family.
I had the honor and pleasure of meeting Bobby Lee through a mutual friend, Rep. Ray Kidd. I, along with the rest of the constituents of Craighead County, was saddened to hear of his passing. God bless you. In Christ, Zach Morrison
