Billy Frank Smith

January 27, 1931 - March 5, 2016 Billy Frank Smith, age 85, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Twin Lakes Therapy and Living in Flippin, Arkansas.
Mr. Smith was born January 27, 1931 in Mull, Arkansas to the late Benjamin Harrison and Alice Idella (Dillard) Smith. A lifetime resident of the area, he was a member and former elder of Broadway Church of Christ in Yellville. He was a United States Air Force veteran of Korea. Billy Frank and his brother started Smith Brothers Construction which built numerous homes and business facilities in Marion and Baxter Counties. He and his brother also started Farm and Home Realty which later became United Realty; and he started Holiday Boat Company. He enjoyed hanging out with his buddies Larry Evans and Robert Moore. He was later known as Billy "Locksmith".
Billy Frank is survived by his wife, Wanda (Seawright) of the home; three daughters: Christie Gilley and her husband, Kenny of Yellville, Arkansas; Tracy Sebald and her husband, Mike, of Flippin, Arkansas; and Nancy Jill Choate and her husband, Glenn, of Searcy, Arkansas; one brother, Kenneth Ronald Smith of Yellville, Arkansas; two sisters: Mary Nelson, and Sammie Lane Jefferson, both of Yellville, Arkansas; ten grandchildren: Lindsey, Stacy, Nickelette, Ben, Amie, Logan, Averie, Skyler, Matthew, and Coleman; and three great-grandchildren Kennedy, Sway, and Kaylee.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Billy Frank Smith, Jr.; three brothers: Jessie, Benny, Leroy; and two sisters: Evelyn, and Willodean.
Visitation for Mr. Smith will be Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from noon until 2:00 pm at Broadway Church of Christ in Yellville.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Broadway Church of Christ with Brian Jefferson and Scotty Jefferson officiating.
Interment will follow at De Soto Cemetery near Yellville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Glenn Choate, Mike Sebald, Marshall Hunter, Chris Goodwin, Ben Gilley, Ken Jefferson, and Kenny Gilley.
Memorials may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital or De Soto Cemetery Fund.
Arrangements are by Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.
