John Lehr

November 27, 1927 - November 25, 2008 Mr. John Lehr, age 80 of Lakeview passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at his daughter’s home. John Lehr was born November 27, 1927 in Alta Loma, CA to John C. and Susie Helen (Gadberry) Lehr. He married Betty Stubbs on August 28, 1946 in Lake Elsinore, CA. He worked many years for Kaiser Steel in Fontana, CA. John and Betty moved to the area 3 years ago and enjoyed the rivers and lakes and especially the wildlife. John was a Freemason.
Mr. John C. Lehr is survived by his wife Betty Lehr of the home; 2 sons: Gary Alan Lehr of Kingman, AZ and Jeffery Carl Lehr and wife Florence of Yucaipa, CA; 2 daughters: Kathryn Ruth DeBord and husband Del Ray of Fontana, CA, and Connie Sue Webber and her husband Stephen of Mountain Home; 10 grandchildren: Jason Alan DeBord of Fontana, CA and Matthew Brian DeBord and wife Kierstie Toohey of Lake Elsinore, CA, Sarah Melissa Webber-Harrison and husband Aaron of Mountain Home, Jamie Sue Lehr and Ashley Marie Lehr, both of Yucaipa, CA, Steffanie Dawn Lehr of San Francisco, CA, Aubrie Rachel Lehr-Reece of Alameda, CA, Hillary Violet Lehr of Berkley, CA, Stacy Lynn Lehr Blevins of Phelan, CA and John Sebastian Lehr of Anthem, AZ; and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son John Thomas Lehr and one granddaughter, Rebekkah Mae Lehr.
A Memorial service for Mr. John C. Lehr will be 2:00 p.m., Friday in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel. Private entombment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
