Linda Carol Patterson, 81, of Cave City passed away Monday, March 24, 2025.
She was born March 11, 1944 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to Leslie Brannon and Josie Jane Howard Brannon.
Linda was a member of Sidney Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She loved her family dearly and her favorite title was ''Nannie''. Linda was a strong willed, independent and hard working woman. Over the course of her life she worked at Patterson Ford and Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home; she also worked as a teacher's aide, managed assisted living apartments and served on the Cave City Cemetery Board for many years. She loved watching old westerns and CSI, working with her flowers and loved frozen custard.
Survivors include her son, Jon Patterson (Angie) of Cave City; daughter, Susan Miller (Dan) of Beaufort, South Carolina; two brothers, Gary Brannon (Judy) of Farmerville, Louisiana and Howard Brannon of Lynn; six grandchildren, Dayton McCarty, Jaret Patterson, Chase McBride, Jacob Patterson, Joseph Patterson and Jace Patterson; seven great-grandchildren, Hollis Finley, Slaten McCarty, Bailey Jo McCarty, Elliette Jae Patterson, Jon Beckett Patterson, Lottie Faye Patterson and June Elizabeth Patterson; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Patterson; son, Joe Alan Patterson and sister-in-law, Barbara Brannon.
Pallbearers will be Dayton McCarty, Jaret Patterson, Chase McBride, Jacob Patterson, Joseph Patterson and Jace Patterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Hollis Finley and Slaten McCarty.
Graveside services will begin at 10:00am Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Cave City Cemetery with Alan Meinzer officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Memorials may be made in her honor to Sidney Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1093 Sidney Rd, Sidney, AR 72577.
Mom I will miss you forever. You were strong willed, a fighter until the end. You were getting better and I was so proud of the work you were doing! I enjoyed watching Hallmark movies with you, maybe not the Westerns but we watched together. I am grateful I was able to spend your last 6 months on earth. Thanks for teaching be to be strong and independent! I miss you.

I’ve known Linda my entire life. Loved going to church with her for many, many years. She was one of Mom’s best friends, and a good friend to our entire family. Linda loved her family dearly. We are out of town until Thursday evening so I will not be able to attend the service but you will all be in my prayers.
Linda meant so much to my family! Kyle, Kirby, and I send our heartfelt condolences to Jon, Susan, and their families. When I think about Cave City, I think of my wonderful times with the Patterson family.
