Gerard Mora passed away peacefully on Saturday, 3/15/25 at the age of 65. He is survived by five siblings and his son, Iran Perez. Gerard was born in San Jose, Costa Rica and came to the United States early in his adulthood in search of opportunity and adventure. He has lived, worked and made friends all across the West Coast, East Coast and the U.S. interior, settling in Arkansas for a well-deserved retirement mid-2025. Gerard passionately loved traveling to experience other cultures, their natural beauty and delicious foods. He valued family immensely, having supported his Costa Rican family from afar and regularly enjoying multi-hour phone calls with his sisters, Cindy and Rosie residing in the U.S. Known to his US-born nieces as "Uncle Gerry", he painted a lasting impression of colors, flavors and love of life since their childhood. He was an artist, a handyman, world traveler and friend to many. He will be dearly missed.
