Richard Larry Danley, of Olive Branch, Mississippi, passed away at the Memphis Veteran's Hospital on January 24, 2025, at the age of 80. He was born June 28, 1944, to Pansy and Ollie Danley.
Richard attended school in Elaine, Arkansas before entering the U.S. Air Force where he served for four years. After his military service he met and married his love, Judith Holifield, who proudly took the name of Danley. They were able to spend the next 55 years before God called him home. Richard was a member of Brookside Baptist Church in Olive Branch for several years as well.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Judith, daughter Ashley Denise Cooper (Matthew) of Olive Branch, Mississippi and three grandchildren, Matthew Tyler Cooper, Savannah Cooper and Peyton Cooper, who will all forever hold his memory in their hearts. He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Richard Lawrence Danley, his step father Max Bobbitt, his brother Harold Danley and sister Anita Whitson.
Services with military honors will be announced at a later date at the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis.
