Mary Lou (Newell) Estes, age 91, of Marshall, Arkansas and more recently of Choctaw, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 in Choctaw, Arkansas. She was born in Pineville, North Carolina on January 29th, 1934 to James Henry Newell and Margaret Louise Jones Newell Wilkinson. Her hobbies included playing board games, sewing, making crafts, cooking and many more.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Estes who passed away in 2024; one sister; one brother; one son and one daughter-in-law.

Family left to cherish her memory are her five sons, Alan Estes, Donnie Estes, Dale Estes, Glenn Estes (Wanda) and Roger Estes (Paula); two brothers, Bill Newell and John Newell (Sue); nineteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.

Mary & Marvin welcomed me like being a part of their family when I was a summer missionary working with their church in Williamsport, PA. They were generous with their time and love! I know the family will miss her dearly but her impact reaches out to the thousands. I am looking forward to seeing both her and her husband with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
