Ricky Leon Williams, 80, of Ridgefield, Washington, formally of Paris, Arkansas, passed away February 05, 2025 at his home.
Ricky was born on January 19, 1945 in Paris, Arkansas to his parents, Seldon Williams and Kitty (Hudson) Williams. Rick was a retired truck driver for the Yellow Freight Trucking Company and a lifetime member of the Teamsters. He enjoyed cooking out on his grill and working on his farm. He contracted polio at a very young age and despite the challenges he faced he grew to be 6'4'' tall and very strong. Rick was also very intelligent; he graduated from University of California Irvine with a bachelor's degree in history. He was an avid fan of the Seattle Mariners and enjoyed watching them play anytime he could. He collected pocketknives, flashlights, multi-tools and old VW beetle cars and vans.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Roy Williams.
He is survived by his life companion, Roberta Worley of Ridgefield, Washington; his cousins, Kent Denton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Linda Jenkins of Delaware, Arkansas, Shelby Graves of Dardanelle, Arkansas, Cheryl Demesa of Plano, Texas, Kirk Denton of Edmond, Oklahoma and many friends.
A Graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Elizabeth Hall Cemetery in New Blaine, Arkansas.
Graveside funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
