Kathryn Coffman, 82, of Bono, AR passed from this life into the glory of Heaven on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. She was born on September 5, 1942 in Trumann, AR to Fred and Ruth (Tippitt) Lane. Kathryn was a minister for 67 years, beginning her ministry at the age of 15, preaching revivals throughout Chicago, Missouri and Arkansas. Her ministry included singing gospel music and playing the piano with The Evening Light Trio and then with her husband for 45 years as The Gospel Heirs. She was a member of Spruce Street Church. She had a deep love and commitment for the Lord that showed not only in her ministry, but also in her other job positions as the bookkeeper for her husband's company, C&G Tractor Company, as an Avon distributor and as a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Les Coffman; her parents; brothers, Troy Goodwin, Garland Goodwin and Fred Lane and a nephew, Daniel Goodwin.
Left to cherish the memory of Kathryn are her son and daughter in law, Tim and Licinda Ohler; grandchildren, Dwayne (Kristy) Ohler, Nathan Ohler, Faith (Ronnie) Medrano and Faith Nicole Ohler; great grandchildren, Kailey, Brayson, Malakye, Hallie, Fletcher, Asher and Chevy Ohler and Jeremiah Medrano and several friends and loved ones.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W. Washington Ave. Jonesboro, AR 72401) with Brother Randy Page officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Bono.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 5-7pm at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Johnny Goodwin, Josh Goodwin, Roger Cambron, Ray Griffin, Vaughn Russell and Jerry Thompson.
Arrangements are under the care of Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home.
My prayers are with Charlie and Denise and Tim and Licinda. Kathryn was a true servant of the Lord. Her music was as beautiful as praise can be this side of Heaven. She and Les are standing in the Light of Jesus and singing for eternity
