July 2, 1937 - February 5, 2025

Tommy Faye Thompson passed from this life to meet her Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 5, 2025. She was 87 years old. Tommy was born on July 2, 1937 in Blue Ridge Mountain, Mississippi to her parents, Dolph & Almetha Crouch. She was married to Dub Thompson on August 7, 1959. They were happily married for 63 years. Dub was called home on February 4, 2023. Tommy is survived by her 3 daughters, Sondra Thompson, Susan Thompson, Karen Hammond; son-in-law, Jeff Hammond and 2 grandchildren, Brooke Hammond and Derek Hammond. Tommy was a good wife and mother. Her greatest treasure in life was to ensure that her family was cared for. We love her very much and will miss her greatly, but know we will see her again one day.

Sondra,

I was very sorry to hear about your mother's passing. I happened upon the obituary and wanted to reach out to you. Your mom and dad were so sweet to my kids-Laura, Christopher, and Harrison, when they were young. We would come by your parents house for Halloween and they were so good to them. I just wanted you to know that I am thinking about you, Karen, and Susan. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

The Thompsons were wonderful hard working people. Salt of the earth. I am proud to have known them. Mrs Tommy was always kind to me. I know she will be missed by her dear family. My sympathy to all and God bless you in you during this difficult time.

Our sympathies Karen and all the family. Losing a parent/parents hurts. Grief comes and goes, but the love and sacrifice of Christ gives us the biblical hope of spending all eternity with them. Praying for you.
