Troy Namon Ragland, age 78, of Marshall, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, February 4th, 2025 at Conway Regional in Conway, Arkansas with his family by his side. He was born in Marshall, Arkansas on February 24th, 1946 to Lloyd Kenneth Ragland and Edith Gasaway Ragland.
Troy was a rock mason and cattle farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Peggy Davis Ragland; two sons, Craig Ragland and wife, Barbara and Kenneth Ragland and wife, Stacy; one daughter, Sharon Slay and husband, Bruce; grandchildren, Andrew Ragland, Adam Ragland and wife, Summer, Austin Ragland, Riley Ragland, Kenna Ragland, Hadley Ragland, Kyler Ragland, Heather Ratchford and husband, Derek, Latisha Chadwick and husband, Tyler, Keely Pettey and husband, Blake and Caisha Howell and husband, Dustyn; great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Waylon Ragland, Colee, Ryder, Beket and Jonah Ratchford, Bentley and Clark Chadwick, Nikalus, Benjamin, Matthew and Jackson Pettey, Emmersyn Slay, Harper, Cameron, Gunner and Gabriel Howell; brothers, Charles Ragland and wife, Ann, Clifton Ragland, Cliff Ragland and wife, Katie, RoyDale Ragland and wife, Jenneane; sister, Lavern Goodman and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Troy is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Edith Ragland and granddaughter, Kelsey Ragland.
Graveside service for Troy will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 7th, 2025 at Red Hill Cemetery in near Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Duane Ragland officiating. Honorary bearers will be Ronald Garrison, Darren Ragland, Darryl Ragland, Andrew Ragland, Todd Ragland, Roger Ragland, Mark Ragland, Allen Ragland, Gwen Harness, Harold Ragland, Austin Ragland, Adam Ragland, Clint Ragland and James Watson.
