Marvin Gardner, age 84, of Gamaliel, Arkansas went to his eternal home on February 06, 2025.
He was born on February 23, 1940 to Leland and Donna Gardner in Alturas, California.
He is survived by his daughters, Karen (John) Sadler, Susan (Michael) Smurr; grandchildren, Leland Sadler, Emma Smurr, Thomas Smurr, Truman Smurr; great grandchild, Michael Smurr and his beloved dog, Addie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Gardner; parents, Leland and Donna Gardner; son, Mark Gardner and brother, John Gardner.
He was a United States Marine Veteran. He thoroughly enjoyed and spent many hours on woodworking. He was an avid fisherman and loved wildlife.

We went to church with Doris for many years and came to know Marvin. He made beautiful wooden toys that he would give to the children in the congregation. They all loved their gifts from Mr. Marvin. My children are grown now but still have the toys he made them and treasure them today.
He had a kind heart and made a lot of young people feel very special.
