of Mountain View, AR

December 9, 1936 - January 28, 2025

Linda L. Blansett of Mountain View, Arkansas passed peacefully on Tuesday, January 28th at the age of 88. Linda was born and raised in Mountain View and graduated from Mountain View High School in 1954 with her husband, Billie D. Blansett.

Linda's eternal love for Bill and support of his career led to 40 years of relocation between Wichita and Washington State before returning back home to Mountain View in 1994. Linda's life-long passion for genealogy, sewing and quilting was surpassed only by her love for family and dedication to her husband and two daughters, Sherra and Donna.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Donna; son in-laws, Dan and Galen and three grandchildren, Brandon, Eric and Katie.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Abigal Doyle Moody; father, Corbin Elmo Moody; daughter, Sherra Turner and husband, Bill.

Memorial Services will be held at Flatwoods Baptist Church in Mountain View, AR on Saturday, February 8th at 2PM with burial to follow.

The Legacy of Bill and Linda will always be the love they had for their children and grandchildren. The best time in their life was being able to have daughters and grandchildren experience life in Mountain View, as we did while youngsters. They are missed.

Linda was a wonderful lady. She and Mr. Bill made a perfect couple. They definitely completed one another. I always enjoyed talking to her. I could have talked to her about genealogy for hours. She was very knowledgeable.
Linda will definitely be missed and always remembered fondly.
