April 1, 1955 - January 20, 2025
Drew Wilson Lafferty, lovingly known as ''Mule Man'', was born on April 1, 1955 and passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025 at the age of 69. A man of deep faith, unwavering dedication and profound love for his family, Drew's legacy is one of kindness, hard work and enduring commitment.
Drew is survived by the love of his life, Nita, his devoted wife of 47 years. Their marriage was a testament to a bond that grew stronger with time, rooted in shared values, faith and an unshakable partnership. He is also survived by his sister, Cara and his nephew, Ethan, who admired Drew's hard work and determination. Drew was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Elizabeth Ann Lafferty and his two brothers, Alex and Bill, who he now reunites with in eternal peace.
At the age of 27, Drew took the reins of the family business his father founded, steering it to remarkable success. His entrepreneurial spirit and tireless dedication transformed the business into a thriving enterprise, leaving behind a lasting mark in his field. Drew's work ethic and vision inspired all who knew him.
Drew's faith in Christ guided him throughout his life. He was a kind and humble man who prioritized his relationship with God, his family and his community. His strong moral compass and generous heart earned him the respect and admiration of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Drew will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his ability to bring laughter and warmth into any room and his unyielding commitment to the values he held dear. While his passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, his legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the memories he created.
''Well done, good and faithful servant.'' Matthew 25:23

So good to read about his life, well lived.
Nita, with regrets, we can be with you only in spirit only today since we cannot come in person. We've prayed for you and Drew many months this past very trying year. We will now focus our prayers on you, someone we love dearly. We are asking our Lord and Saviour for peace and tranquility to fill your heart and mind through these changing times.
On a personal note from me (George), I never had the pleasure of meeting Drew but my heart was warmed as I read his obituary. He was a handsome and a good man. We will be making a donation to his favorite charity in lieu of flowers.

Dear Ms Anita, I had no idea he was ill. The time I’ve got to spend with Drew was truly a blessing. He was always filled with laughter and knowledge. I consider him like a mentor in my life. if I can do anything to help, please feel free to give me a call. Our prayers are with you.
Nita, I am so sorry for your loss. Drew was a special person. He could light a room up with his personality. Drew was not only a 20+ year customer to me but I also considered him a friend. He could be mad and scratched up from having to climb a fence because his gate operator didn't work but could somehow end up joking about. He was pure gold and his love for you was inspirational. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Drew was lucky to know such a great person. He will be missed by many.
Nita and all the family of Drew. Our sincerest condolences for the loss of such a great man. He definitely made his lasting mark on this world and will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Nita, even though, we only knew each other for a short time, I feel like we have known each other for years. I will miss the silliness that Drew and i had going. I was usually lost for a comeback but so much fun. If you need anything, will definitely be there to help. Right now I am in rehab but seem to be progressing well. Sorry I can’t come to the funeral.

Hello Nita,
We've never met, but Drew has been a mentor to me, helping me through the first stages of getting my business ready to sell. He was always professional, courteous, understanding, affable, and more than willing to do whatever it took to get us the information we needed to get the parts made for Lafferty Equipment in the fashion LE needed them, and always would make sure a payment was made when funds got low, even if a particular invoice wasn't even due yet. He will be fondly remembered. Gordon Bopp
