Nellie Sue Wilson passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025, at the age of 88. Sue was a devoted Christian, loving wife and mother. Sue enjoyed serving others in many capacities in churches she and her family attended throughout her life. She was an excellent cook, cherished opening her home in hospitality to her friends and family and excelled in creatively keeping not only her home, but her flowering plants in her yard.
Sue was born September 7, 1936, in Sharon, Tennessee, and lived in Little Rock with her family since 1975. Sue was preceded in death by her parents Nathan and Cecil Lasater, sister Sylvia Bailey Maat and her brother Randall Lasater.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Ray Wilson; daughter Sheila Porter, son-in-law David Porter all of Little Rock along with her cherished grand-dog Macy; sisters, Marilyn Childress of Franklin Tennessee and Linda Bandy of San Antonio, Texas; nieces, Charlotte Burns (Allen) of Franklin, Tennessee, Mary Porter of Canton, Michigan and Tammy Torres (Paul) of Bloomington, Illinois; nephews, Frank Childress (Cindy) of Memphis, Tennessee, Rickey Wilson (Claire) of Trenton, Tennessee, Phillip Wilson (Becky) of Sidonia, Tennessee, Barry Wilson (Sherry), of Martin, Tennessee, Jason Bandy of San Antonio, Texas, Scott Bailey (Rachelle) of Greenville, South Carolina, and Larry Bailey (Diana) of Cape Coral, Florida.
A private family service and burial will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Sue always put for a peaceful, gentle spirit. It was a privilege to have met her.
