Glenna Solange Johnson

of Russellville, AR

August 23, 1959 - January 17, 2025

Glenna Solange (Gregg) Johnson, 65, a resident of Russellville, left this adventure called life on Friday, January 17, 2025 in Little Rock. She was born on August 23, 1959 in Sault St Marie, Michigan to the late Glenn Willard and Myriam Raymonde (Guillaume) Gregg.

Glenna loved her family and friends, she enjoyed cookouts and get-togethers as often as they could be arranged and while she didn't have a flashy career or a lot of possessions, she was extremely proud of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of welcoming. She enjoyed learning to make new foods and loved eating and trying all kinds of different ones. She loved to go fishing, just sitting on a bank with a rod and reel made her so happy and peaceful. She loved animals, horses and dogs in particular, but all received love. She loved reading and instilled that in her children and grandchildren as much as possible. She enjoyed computers as well, having learned about them and used them since some of the first could be in homes. She was regarded as an extremely smart woman, with a wicked sense of humor. There will not be a day that she isn't missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Myriam Raymonde (Guillaume) Gregg; father, Glenn W. Gregg; husband, Raymond D. Johnson; stepson, Raymond I. Johnson and grandson, Devin Wiggins.

Glenna is survived by her four children, Rachel (Vincent) Johnson-Lau, Jody (Jackie) Johnson, Aaron (Chasity) Johnson and Glenn ''Brad'' (Crystal) Johnson; three stepchildren, Jessie Johnson, Richard Johnson and Brandy Johnson; one sister, Annette (David) McCord; two brothers, George (Carol) Gregg and Phillip Gregg; she has a plethora of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even further from there to great-great grands; along with numerous nieces and nephews. On top of all of that, she would adopt people along the way…so many called her, Mom or Granny and she loved them all.

A memorial service for Glenna will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Family We didn’t know until today about your mom’s passing or we would have been there. Your mom was one of the nicest happiest lady we have known. Always smiling and laughing whenever we would cross paths. Last had seen her was at Walmart and had a nice visit catching up. She definitely loved her family! Know she is well thought of!
