Lucien Anderson Webster, Jr., 84, of Elaine, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 17, 2025 in Elaine, Arkansas. He was born Wednesday, June 19, 1940 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Lucien Anderson, Sr. and Daphne Ellzey.
Lucien was a member (Deacon) of Elaine Baptist Church in Elaine, Arkansas. He was a graduate of Elaine High School. He received a master's degree in Administrative Education from the University of Mississippi. Lucien was a high school principal at various locations for forty plus years. He was also on the board for Phillips County Library for many years. Lucien was the Mayor of Elaine, Arkansas. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, spending time with his grandchildren and watching sports.
He is survived by his three daughters, Anne Bray (Rob) of Rogers, Arkansas, Nancy Webster of Elaine, Arkansas and Diane Watson (Luke) of Elaine, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Bryce Bray(Chandler), Abby Bray, Maggie-Cate Bray, Andersyn Watson and Alyson Watson; one great grandchild, Rocky Webster Bray; several nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lucien Anderson Webster, Sr. and Daphne Ellzey; his wife of over fifty two years, Anna Inebnit Webster and two sisters, Ann Higgins and Daphne Ranson.
A funeral service for Lucien Webster will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Elaine Baptist Church in Elaine, Arkansas. A visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Elaine Baptist Church. Brother Luke Watson will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Helena, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Bryce Bray, Nick Lockhart, Tommy Inebnit, III, Brit Turner, James Guest and Sam Saia.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Leon Parker, Tony Silva and Rob Silva.

Sorry to Hear about Mr. Webster, we often would eat at same time at August Moon and Talk about 60 era HS Football. He had a very Good Memory concerning Older Events and Current Events, I know that he will be Missed by All his Friends and Love Ones--God's Peace to All His Family...

I am so sorry about losing Lucian. He was a wonderful man from a wonderful family. His father was Helena Chief of Police many years ago and his mother had a florist down town Helena for a short time. His sister Daphne died at a young age and his older sister Anne was one of my best friends till she died a few years ago. Lucian will certainly be missed.

Mr. Webster was the principal in Elaine when I taught and coached there in the late 70’s and 80’s. With his guidance I became a better teacher and coach. My condolences go out to the Elaine community and his family.
