Barbara Lee Blackburn, age 87, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 in Cordova, Tennessee. She was born Wednesday, January 12, 1938 in Truman, Arkansas to the late Edward and J. Mabel Stinnett. Barbara loved music and going to the movies, but her favorite past time was spending time with her children.
She is survived by her children: Susan Ridge (Charlie) of Benton, Arkansas, Valda Crawford of Joiner, Arkansas, Robert Beith of Richlands, North Carolina and Traci Price (Mark) of Joiner, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Lawrence Stinnett and J. Mabel Stinnett and daughter, Lauren Anthony.
Pallbearers will be Arnold Blackburn, Norman Yarbrough, Todd Yarbrough, David Clark, Jay Howe, Gene Johnson and Josh Ridge.
A graveside service for Barbara Blackburn will be held at 11:00 am. on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Nakomas Rodgers will officiate.

Valda, Tracy, Robbie and Susan, I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Barbara. I will be praying for all of you in the days ahead. I didn't know anything until after the funeral. I love you all.

Susan, I was so very sorry to hear of Mrs. Barbara's passing. She was such a beautiful sweet soul. My prayers are going up for you, your family and siblings. I am thankful for good memories of her, and mine and your school years together.
The class of 1955 was the smallest in the past history of Elaine High, Elaine, Arkansas, but was a small family with everyone getting along. Barbara was the heart of our little group.
