Michael Dwaine White, age 73, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 10, 2025 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Michael was born in Mountain Home to the late Joe Ray and Minnie Irene (Helm) White. Michael enlisted in the Marine Corps during High School and served in Vietnam. After his time with the Marine Corps served, he re-enlisted in the ARMY where he served as a weapons instructor. He then served his Reserve duty in the Army National Guard as a Drill Sergeant. When his children were young Michael enjoyed getting to the outdoors, camping and fishing, he was known to love sweets and his motorcycle, but more than anything, Michael loved his family. He was a great husband, father, papa and brother. Michael was the simplest, unsimple man ever and will be missed by everyone that knew him.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Tina Marie (Gambell) White of the home; four sons, Peter Dempsey (Shaunna) of Pryor, OK, Travis White of Chouteau, OK, Alex White and Paul Ford both of Flippin; One daughter, Rebecca Skutt of Flippin; One brother, Russell White (Sheri) of Collinsville, OK; one brother-in-law, Art Christian of Boynton, OK and One sister, Sharon Varsan (Robert) of Conway, SC. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Justyn, Jordyn, Jacetyn and Jadyn ''Katie'' Dempsey Allissa and Gavin Cowie, Austin Crank, Sean Tracy, Sammantha Gambell and Gavin White; Four greatgrandchildren, Ethan Snow, Hudson Lewis, Zell Copp and Waylon Dempsey and as Michael would say, ''they're still coming!''
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kathy Christian.
Funeral service for Michael will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation one hour prior to service.
