Margaret Fern Smith Beene, 92, of Enola, Arkansas passed from this world Friday, January, 10, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born October, 28, 1932, the oldest child of the late Russell G. Smith and the late Elsie P. Duncan Smith.
She worked at Baldwin Piano for many years and later retired from Polyvend to be a fulltime homemaker and caregiver to her husband.
She was a faithful member of the Enola Church of Christ. Margaret was a loving daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Cletus ''Pete'' Beene, of 60 years and her brother, Harold D Smith.
She is survived by daughter, Cathy (Randy) Brown; son, Wayne (Libby) Beene; brother, Russell V.(Marvinna) Smith all of Enola and sister-in-law, Shirley Smith of Conway; grandchildren, Katlin (Tony) Adams of Enola, Hannah (Mark) Loyd and Wyatt Beene of Vilonia, Jordan (Kaycie) Brown of Greenbrier and Landon Brown of Austin, Texas; great-grandchildren, Asher and Bridger Adams of Enola, Peyton and Makenna Loyd of Vilonia and Harrison Collins of Greenbrier and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended church family.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 6-8pm at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held at 10am Wednesday, January 15th at the Enola Church of Christ with Brother David Riley officiating. Interment will follow at the Marcus Hill Cemetery in Enola.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

I loved it when we could make her laugh. It was always a quiet chuckle and it always felt good to be able to make her laugh.
