Jo Ann "Ms B" Bezet

of Conway, AR

August 26, 1940 - January 2, 2025

Jo Ann (Ms. B) Bezet, 84, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2025. She was born on August 26, 1940 in Zachary, Louisiana to James and Josie Morris. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, Jack Crissinger; her brother, J.D. Morris and her sister, Dorris Badeaux.

Her life was defined by her deep love for Jesus and her passion for helping others know Him. Jo Ann came to faith as a young girl at her home church in Baker, Louisiana. From that moment on, she devoted her life to her family, her faith and serving the local church. She lovingly raised her two sons, Rick and Randy, and for nearly two decades worked at Bethany Church in Baton Rouge, assisting them and many others in ministry. Jo Ann also served as the house mom for the House of Ruth, a home for unwed mothers, where she cared for and impacted the lives of hundreds of young moms and their babies. In 2000, she moved to Conway, Arkansas, where she spent her remaining years splitting her time between Arkansas and Florida. She poured her heart into raising her eight grandchildren and supporting her sons in building their churches.

Jo Ann is survived by her two sons and their spouses, her eight grandchildren and their spouses and her eleven great-grandchildren with more on the way. Her legacy of faith, love and service will continue to inspire generations to come.

Service will be at New Life Church in Conway at 10:00am on January 8, 2025. A Visitation will be at 9:00am.

No words can remove the pain of losing a loved one, but knowing your loved one is rejoicing in heaven with our Lord and Savior helps ease the pain. Ms B was a beautiful friend to everyone she met and spoke with. We were truly blessed to get to know her while she was in the New Life Church in Greenbrier. The Bezet family will be in our thoughts and prayers

GiJo was instrumental in solidifying the connection between Kyle and Grace. She knew he was the one even before Grace did. I will always cherish her. I was drawn to GiJo the moment I met her. Her love for God and people was transparent. She had a gift of making you feel seen, heard, and loved. All of heaven is celebrating this saint!

Ms. Joanne was a ray of sunshine. Her smile would greet you a mile away..
I met her future daughter-in-law Michelle in Bible school, and this was our introduction to this amazing beautiful soul. she loved seeing us together. It was evident. Her laughter and open arms will be missed.

On behalf of the ladies Doing Life Solo, heartfelt gratitude to Ms B and her team for giving of themselves to make a few hundred of us feel like Queen for the Day. Beautiful luncheons filled with fellowship and delicious meals. We even had escorts at Christmas! She will always be remembered for the joy she shared and the love that we received.
