Elsie Shipley, 96, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 in Mountain Home. She was born on June 9, 1928 in Rodney, Arkansas to Frank and Emma (Dickerson) Clark.

Elsie was a devoted homemaker who cherished her family deeply. She attended Real Life Church where her faith and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew her. On October 30, 1943 Elsie married the love of her life, Henry Shipley, in Norfork, Arkansas and together they built a life filled with love and devotion.

Elsie is survived by her three daughters-in-law, Sandy, Pat and Arleta; her five grandchildren, Shelly, Scott, Tammy, Jeffrey and Robert; her five great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Fisher, Hunter, Arley and Jasper and her great-great-grandchild, Spencer. Her legacy of love and family endures through them.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Henry; her three sons, Don, Gene and Lee Ray; her brother, Connie; her sister, Virgie and her grandson, Allen.

A celebration of Elsie's life will be held at Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home, Arkansas with details to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of choice in Elsie's memory. Her faith, warmth, strength and unwavering love will be dearly missed but forever remembered.
