Berry Bill Wilson Freeman, 85, of Maumelle went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2024. Bill was born March 7, 1939 in Atlanta, Georgia to Woodrow and Eunice Freeman. Bill served his country honorably as a Specialist in the United States Army during the Vietnam War Era. Bill was a proud Veteran, a devoted husband and a cherished grandfather and great-grandfather.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Jeanie Freeman; his parents and his brother, Bobby Freeman.
He is survived by his two sisters, Diana Rogers and Linda Stone of Ohio; step-daughter, Debbie Hines (Ronnie); three grandchildren, Heather Vorsas (Tim), Levi Hines (Sarah), Shane Hines (Kelly) and five great-grandsons, Josh, Taylor, Jordan, Jacob and Liam.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and neighbors.
A visitation will be Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Roller-Owens in North Little Rock. Graveside services will be 11:00am Friday, January 3, 2025 at Riverwood Memorial Gardens with Chuck Monan officiating.
You were a wonderful, kind man who meant the world to us. So many great memories from Ohio to NC to Arkansas. I know you are happy to be with Jeanne and Boomer in heaven. Our hearts will miss you till we see you again. RIP "Magic Man". Praying for the family.
He was such a great man and mentor to me! He had such a kind spirit when he dealt with people! I always tried to keep up with him after he retired. Sending love and support to all of his family!
