To Uncle Buddy

Uncle Buddy, your laughter was a light,
A beacon of joy, ever shining bright.
No matter the storm, no matter the day,
You had a way to chase the clouds away.

Your shoulders carried more than your share,
Always ready to show that you care.
Dependable, steady, a rock through it all,
We knew you’d catch us whenever we'd fall.

These last few years, a precious gift,
Moments with you, our spirits to lift.
I'm so thankful for each smile, each tear,
For your unselfish love that brought us near.

You gave without question, helped without pause,
A heart full of kindness, a soul without flaws.
The world feels dimmer now that you’re gone,
But your legacy of love forever lives on.

Fly high, dear uncle, beyond the sky,
Where laughter and love will never die.
Forever missed, never forgotten,
In our hearts, your memory’s begotten.
Jennifer
