Edie Thompson, 83, of Magazine, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 in Paris. She was born on August 23, 1941 in Bowling Green, Ohio to her parents, Kenneth and Alice (Brown) Whitmore.

Edie retired from Johns Manville in Waterville, Ohio after 33 years of service. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Butch Thompson; one brother, Kenneth Whitmore; one sister, Mary Philo and one great grandson, Dylan Osborne.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Rodriguez and husband, Miguel of Ozark; three sons, Rick Thompson and wife, Charlotte of Magazine, Brian Keith Thompson and girlfriend, Rosalie Tinoco of Toledo, Ohio and Anthony Thompson and wife, Karina of Bradner, Ohio; two sisters, Jeannie Richter and husband, Charlie of Enid, Oklahoma and Kay Leimenstoll and husband, A.J. of Enid, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
