Gladys Marie Crumley, age 82, of Marshall, Arkansas passed away on Monday, December 23rd, 2024 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway, Arkansas. She was born in the Maple Grove community of Leslie, Arkansas on August 24th, 1942 to Carl Henry and Eva McInturff Henry.
Gladys was a born again Christian. She attended the Lord's House of Prayer. She was a wonderful singer and enjoyed singing praises to her Lord and Savior. She was an avid student of the bible and loved to read and share the gospel. Gladys liked working her puzzle books. She was an excellent cook. Granny didn't have much but she gave her kids and grandkids the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ. Gladys left this world singing God's praises and these last words, ''All is well''.
Survivors include her children, Randy Crumley and wife, Penny of Marshall and Alicia Mize of Marshall; grandchildren, Thomas ''Tac'' Crumley (Shelby) of Marshall, Tish Knapp of Marshall, Brittany Mize of Marshall and Adrian Crumley of Ava, Missouri; great grandchildren, Camio Mize, Rexx Knapp, Ancil Crumley, Jude Crumley and Paisley Ragland and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will also mourn her passing.
Gladys is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 53 years, Ancil Crumley; two sons, Michael and Anthony Crumley; siblings, Leroy Henry, Dorothy Page and Charlene House and son-in-law, Donald Mize.
Funeral services for Gladys will be 2:00 PM Monday, December 30th, 2024 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Randy Crumley officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 till 2:00 PM preceding the service. Burial will be in Sulphur Springs Cemetery where Gladys will be laid to rest beside her husband, Ancil Crumley who passed away in 2014. Bearers will be Bennie Page, Tac Crumley, Perry Chase, Royce Barnes, Cliff Barnes and Louie Barnes. Honorary bearers will be Tim Switzer, Timothy Switzer, James Hubbard, Garrett Page, Shannon Rogers and Phil Pulis.
