Virginia Johnson, age 91, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024 in West Helena, Arkansas. She was born on Thursday, December 14, 1933 to the late Virgil Romine Sr and Zelma Romine. Virginia loved tending to her flowers, gardening, canning and baking which she loved to share with her family and friends. She worked in the jewelry department at Wal Mart where she retired. Virginia was a member of the Twin City Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Johnson; parents, Virgil Romine Sr and Zelma Romine; son, Paul Johnson; brother, Virgil Romine Jr. (Thelma) and one grandson, Drew Wood.
Virginia is survived by her sons, Dale Johnson (Ann) of Corpus Chrisi, Texas, Dan Johnson (Cindy) of West Helena, Arkansas; daughters, Anna Burrel (Denver) of Walhalla, South Carolina and Jennifer Clemons (Brad) of Aubrey, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Andrea Viner (Jack), Vicki Pryor (Leslie), Brent Johnson (Stacey), Katy Taylor (Ross), Hunter Wood (Haley), Lindsay Adams (Zach) and Madison Clemons; twelve great- grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two loving care givers, Carlisha Lonzo and Dee Dee Carthan; daughter-in-law, Carol Johnson and her beloved pet, Bentley.
Pallbearers will be Bradley Clemons, Jack Viner, Chris Worstell, Jason Worstell, Brent Johnson and Hunter Wood.
A visitation for Virginia Johnson will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, Chapel in West Helena, Arkansas. A chapel service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Larry Scott will officiate.

So very sad to learn of Virginia’s passing. She was a good friend to our family for many years. My two sisters, my Mom & myself loved her.
